If you want to create a hotkey that *says* a link for an item you do not own, here is how you do it.<br /><br />1. Open item window for an item you do own<br />2. /ho <anyname> <link from item, click icon in window><br />3. click in hotkey window to insert<br />4. edit hotkey with /say or /g etc in front of it<br />5. edit your ini file (Player_52.ini). find the exact name and item # from lucy.allhakhazam.com and replace the name and number in your ini with the item from lucy<br /><br />You must quit EQ before editing your ini file.<br /><br />That's it.<br />
the only legit use for this is to make /auction hotbuttons and the like.<br /><br />when you try and link multiple items in a social (using /ho and clicking items) it deletes if you have too many or text before the first link, so you can only link one item in /say. use this to fix your hotbuttons.<br /><br />using this to trick people and spam items you dont own may violate ToS, been warned. its good for verifing whether or not items are on our server, but beyond there is just asking for it.<br /><br /><br />--------------------------<br>
