Congrats DC! I have to say, this is probably a "server first." I thought some of the rants on tem.org were good, but I really had to dig and never did manage to find one with more views than this one. You might think the infamous "You just fucked up BIG time!" Vance rant thread would beat it, but it's a measley 1022 views. The huge tactics key group debacle was a mere 2412. "Gnatzilla WTF is your problem?" rings in at only 1461 -- a true underachieving tribute to such a great ranter... err... man.... Kayne's goodbye drama post was a paltry 1842. I thought maybe there were good threads outside of the rants forum -- but no. General produces nothing of interest -- nothing over 1000 views. And while some of our raid deconstruction threads have hit 12 pages, none were over 2500 views either. I'd like to thank all the participants -- Claric for starting it, saying he'd leave, but hanging in even when the going got tough and finally letting loose with a full throated rant. Jinkys your determination was a true credit to us all. Our bit player, Whotsa, for his contributions. Glimi, you TRIED to take us down by separating things out into a second thread but we caught on to your antics and stayed focused on this thread. Thank you Destiny for your cameos, we love you too and will return the favor some day And especially I'd like to thank my mother, who is the reason I'm here today. This has truly been a server achievement! for the humor imparied: no, Temerity didn't set out to make this a long thread. We have our friends to thank for coming back and continuing to give more fuel to the fire -- it would not have gone beyond 2 pages without them! --

Wow, a real long time since I have posted on these boards. So long that I even forgot my old login info. Oh well, with old age comes senility I guess. I have a lot of friends on this server. To those that are in Temerity I say "Hello. I miss seeing you as much as I once did." And in all honesty, I have pissed off quite a few people on this server, and even done them wrong. To those currently in Temerity, or formerly even, I would like to say "I am sorry." And yes, that even means to you Bastette. I can be stubborn and pig headed at times which did not help in any of the cases where I angered some people, or whom I was angry at. I have been working on that and hope that all who were hurt or offended by me can accept my apology. Seeing all this unfold, I thought the best way to progress the relationship between my guild, Dark Conquest, and Temerity was for someone to step up and admit they were wrong. So why not me? Temerity was my first guild, DC will be my last. At least here on EQ for Mac. I hope that we all can use this post as a way to move past the negativity and maybe even find a way to work together somehow. Or at least not get on each other's nerves every few weeks or months. That is as far as I am going in touching on the subject of this thread. Party on people! -the Dagman.

Wow Claric, nice comment from someone who initially posted that you had nothing against Temerity as a whole. You came here to our public forums and started flinging accusations at us. I'm astonished at how it's suddenly our fault and we're being called "arrogant" and "shit heads" because we're doing you the favor of actually reading and responding to these inane and groundless accusations. 
It's been over a year since I joined Temerity, and the only regrets I've ever had about my decision is that I didn't do it sooner. This has nothing to do with loot, progression, or personal vendettas. I am playing this game in order to have fun, and hang around with friends online. Since raiding is what I love to do in EQ, I have found what I'm looking for here in Tem. I've had more fun raiding here, and learned a *ton* about EQ and raiding (and it took more than a day - ROFL). I feel that my contributions to the guild are appreciated and acknowledged, and that I will never have to worry about me or anyone else taking second place to an alt.

And where precisely does Dark Conquest get most of its membership, if not from other smaller guilds? I joined DC after being in another little guild. Does that mean that I should credit the MAC with everything that I learned while in DC? That would be patently ridiculous. Likewise DC deserves no credit for those things that I learned after tagging into Temerity. 
There is a lot I could say, but I understand the futility of pounding my head against a brick wall. I hope that this rant provided whatever catharsis you needed and allowed you to vent your spleen against Temerity. Clearly you are bitter and angry. This is a game. If you aren't having fun, then don't play it. Just keep your vitriol to yourself henceforth.
