I have heard a few stories about something that happened in the past regarding some account thefts and what not. I don't know the details but from what I do know it had something to do with the message boards as well.

I received an interesting private message today with a link that I have not clicked. Is there a moderator or someone I should forward this onto?

There is a little red yield sign looking icon on the upper right hand corner that you can use to report spam PM's, this can help the mods tweak forum settings to help reduce bot spam.

There is a button under your post count on the left that sort of looks like /!\ which you can use to report the post/poster. It's just a spammer, and the officers have already taken steps to help keep things "clean" around here.

Now if they could only do something about those filthy gnomes........

Thanks, Near. We banned that phisher bot. There's probably some kind of crapware at the other end of those links. We've also changed forum settings so that unregistered visitors can no longer send PMs to anyone except mods.
