is any one else haveing trouble getting the game to wotk today i am able to log in my account but unable to get to the point where i can press play

still waiting on response back from eric at soe. so untill this is fix i will not be able to play.

I think there's some post on eqmac.com that talks about an out of game petition. Just read the gm thread, I don't really know anything about it. Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

Like i said i am not able to connect and now soe is saying this For some reason your not even making it past the Host according to your apple profile consol.log file now what does that mean i am able to surf the internet (i am posting here) i am able to use my email as i am able to recieve and send email and the LP goes tru it normal startup checking for updates and does that fine but when it get to secound window (the one you press play to start the game) it does nothing seams to me it on thier side not mine

ok i sent them a picture of where it stops responding maybe now they figure it out that it is on thier side. well any why i guess i wont get this issue fix anytime soon as thanksgiving weekend is here

Perhaps you should try reinstalling it. Also, I'm sure they've asked this, but you're not using a proxy of any sort are you? I use a proxy to filter banner ads on my machine, and it causes silly side effects with the launcher for me. The news doesn't display, and it crashes when there's an update available. Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

thx zatrik I have tried reinstalling it no luck:'( i do not block anything like you are describing i also have tried playing with the ports on the router with no luck (since put it back at default where it was working fine before.) i have even tried to connect to cable modem directly with no luck i have turn on the firewall in os x no luck and then turn it back off still no luck this really sucks because nothing has change on my system from when it did work and now it does not work. i am going to call my cable provider tommarow and see if they are blocking any ports for some stupid reason again and then i give apple a call (i still under my apple care warrenty) and see if they got a solution to the problem any other sugestion on to how to fix my connection problem i be glad to try as you all know i had one of the most stable connections and very rarely went ld and that was always my cable provider problem not the game sorry i just very fustrated due to it should work and it does not only thing that change was soe reset the servers on thier side and have noty been able to get on since

will after talking to adelphia (my cable provider) they agree with me that the problem is on thier end not mine or in between. and gave me a list of ports they block. i have forward this info on to to eric along with everything i have done trying to get the game running (including reinstalling the game) I have even downloaded america army and installed it to test out another game online and it works fawlessly seams to me that something on my account got currupted during the last server reset that happen after the last time i was log in. well that is the latest on my little crusade finding my way back to world of norrath

Ugh...I'm having the same problem, now. I launch the LaunchPad app, type in my name and password and get to the Update news page, and get the spinning beach ball of death. I thought it was my friends' ISP up in Oregon, where I spent Thanksgiving. sorry i jinxed you nik<img src="/forums/images/gpicons/face_cry.gif"> you are now the 4th person i know with this problem. i believe something is broken on soe end not ours as i have research this issue for 4 days and their is nothing on my mac blocking any ports needed by the update panel now if we can get eric to figure this out we be all set Wish you luck in getting it fixed<img src="/forums/images/gpicons/face_happy.gif">

Build, don't know if it means anything or not, but since the last server reset while I don't LD as much, most times when I camp instead of going to the launch screen I get the error message that I (my account) is already logged on and get sent to the desktop. Definitely something going on on the SOE end. Eadan

The really nasty thing about my problem is that I'm not even getting to the game.
