In the EQ May news letter there was hidden links to pictures of epics. Not known if they are Epic2.0 or just revamped epic models with the new PC graphic engine. But looking very kewl with the drawing. yes that is this new expansion for PC EQ.

People who want status in game.

Back in the day of kunark if you saw a mage or any class with their epic, your mouth would drop. It was a big status to have one, and you were known across the server. People who love that status and want it again will do the epic 2.0.

IMO i miss those days of EQ when you saw a mage with epic and the shit you had to do to get it. have to remember those days we didnt have Velious, Luclin, PoP. And to get to top of PoSky was one of the hardest things as well as clearing hate and fear.

SoE is trying to put that back in the game with Epic 2.0, but its too late. My brothers guild on PC droped down to 40% of their numbers now. They cant even do raids anymore. With all the top end guilds leaving and have left, whats SoE supposed to do to get em back? Only thing they been waiting for was to give those who work for it status. These days everyone is in PoTIme and has that loot, so no one is set aside like epics used to do for people.

But i think its to late, its more or less people burned out with EQ. Most who left are the ones who been at it since beta. <img src=http://65.104.121.87/portalvbvs/Raginig.gif target=_blank> </img>
