Hello all I am relatively new to Mac EQ, so i figured i would put up a post introducing myself. I am Heelz Pleez currently a lvl 30 gnome Magician. Though my level may be relatively low on the Mac side i have plenty of experience on the PC side. I have played many different races and classes on different servers. So here goes my explanation of who i am:<br /><br />My first ever character was on the server of Quellious in which i played a wizard named Blista. I got to the level of 58 and joined the guild Wraith which was in an alliance with the guild Revivicense. I was in this guild at the begining of Luclin and stayed until a good number of months before PoP. Wraith was the third best guild on the server raiding wise and in this guild i learned to kill many top mobs including all of NToV all the way through the Emporer of Ssra. I got all of the shards for my VT key but was not a top priority for the rift. Before i could get my rift i got my report card and unfortunately EQ had become > than school so i had to quit EQ.<br /><br />Next over to Vazaelle, where i had been playing a ranger, Amanar, off and on so i could play with my cousin. I finally decided to grind and got him to lvl 62 with 32AA's while a member of the guild Promethian Order. In promethian order i gained even more knowledge on Upper end Velious/Luclin and middle end PoP. I finally got a completed VT key on this character and got to raid there a few times. Then my cousin quit and i lost most interest in the server as he was the whole reason i started playing there.<br /><br />So then i find that a small group of people from my school played EQ on the Fennin Ro server. This is where i had most of my fun. It was on this server that i learned the value of strategy over force. When i first started playing here the only "uber" characters we had were a 65 monk (Kikntiger) and a 65 druid (Grumpyleaf), and they were by no means uber. We recieved a lvl 52 enchanter (Karakcast) from a friend at our school that had quit pre-luclin and a lvl 45 paladin (Karagos) that had quit the same time. With the monk and druid we quickly leveled both the Enchanter and paladin to lvl 65 and because grouping to fill AA's. My main character to play was the enchanter, but that became irrelivent after a while. After grouping in BoT together for a long time we got each character around 100 AA's. It was at this time that we realized we were very under equipped for our levels and what a better place to get equipment than BoT. I think this part deserves a paragraph in itself.<br /><br />So we began to think of ways in which we could kill all of the BoT minis as well as some of the tower Mini's. Well we figured out a way and to put it bluntly we made too much money in a short period of time. We bought each of the characters a full set of ornate armor and kept some of the minis drops for the characters that needed them. After that we began to sell all of our loot for platinum and sold the platinum online for real money. Well after a while BoT farming got bored so we decided to introduce ourselves to harder opponents. So we all got Tactics flagged and set out for the rares there. After killing a few of the smaller rares with the same tactics as used in BoT we set out for the ultimate, killing Vallon Zek. After much strategizing and some amazing pulling tactics from my friend we downed him a few times and equipped our characters with his loot table. After that we began selling the looting rights of his equipment for more plat which turned into real money. After that summer came along and no time for EQ.<br /><br />Well now that ive come to college i have lost interest in all of the expansions PC side has come out with and my dad bought me a nice mac so here i am. I am posting this so you all can get to know me a little better and perhaps you knew me on one of the PC side servers. I just wanted to introduce myself and all of my EQ experience and would like to congratulate any of you that got this far in reading this rambling hehe.
