Best way to zone into PoHate is have a wizzy port a SoS rogue first. The rogue will check the ZL status and let raid know if it is safe for ports. The first group ported should consist of tanks, healers and a chanter for CC in case the LZ gets overwhelmed with adds.

We had a little difficulty on the break in, we had a chanter in the tank group but still managed to pull trains we couldn't handle as we zoned in folks in succeeding groups. But eventually we cleared enough mobs that we were able to zone in and move folks out and from there we were able to keep adds to a reasonable 2-3 on a pull at most. For the most part we had single pulls. With no monk, the key was to move slowly and make sure the ranger didn't just stumble into multiple mobs. Hehe, not that I would ever do something like that...

I can see now why folks like the zone. I didn't get my drop but we did manage to take down a few minis and get a couple of Necro's their drops so it wasn't a total waste of time. I learned a lot about the zone including which mobs resist Pac but just sit there waiting for you to get close enough to chew on. Oh, and to pull spite golems out of range of healers on the other side of walls. =)

Next time I think I will plan for an earlier start, by the time we broke in and managed to clear to the upstairs area and start working toward Inny folks were ready to call it a night.

Cool, glad to hear you at least got a good look at the zone. Holler if you plan another trip, as long as it doesn't interfere with Tem raid time, I'll see if I can make it.

I really do like that zone; I've personally never seen/killed Inny, cuz like you mentioned, the endeavors that I've been involved with also tire before reaching him... that damn second floor with mobs that need pieces of candy to follow you back to the group... bah.

Taku the Magnificent, and Guile da magic gnome had great fun helping the Sanct folks thru the perils and thrills of PoHate (affectionately known as the PoCRs).

Next time we should absolutely bring an SoS Rogue for recon of the break in camp. Lots of folks learned the importance of NOT MOVING when you land at the port in spot. Or first wipe was due to the ported in groups running around zone in spot and aggroing additional adds thru the walls. I doubt we will have similar problems at the next go round.

Don't feel bad Dare, took my ranja Elrontaur Minotaur 5 or 6 trips to PoH till he got his SEoC. We Destineers have a saying "NEVER GIVE UP!"

Better luck next time, Dare. Hate is a great place to go to farm cash or gems, so that's always a nice bonus to the epic drops and of course Inny himself. (Who is a wimp, sorry Inny worshipers, he is! :p)
