I heard from a DC person that "Omg the server is being shut down January 1." He seemed quite serious about it. Further investigation on my part turned up the fact that it was just some random post someone external made on the DC site. So, Wizrobe's statement isn't that far off base.

For what it's worth I've heard the same from DC folks, Raden. But, same as Sukaisi, it was just the anon post on DC's forums (that people seemed to think was from me for some dumb reason.)

The original post was made on 9/28/05. Initially, I am sure some DC peeps were alarmed. It was quickly taken with little regard and there was never a concern over that posts authenticity or lack of. I am sure some asked around to see if a similar post had made it to other guildsites. I also never heard one comment within DC that someone from Tem or elsewhere was the poster.
You can imagine my surprise when over 2 months later, Wiz posts that DC is spreading that rumour and that its the reason our raid numbers may be down. Don't misunderstand, I have the upmost respect for all of you and your posts. But Wiz's post, that was put into a GENERAL forum, was inaccurate, out of date and pure speculation. I felt it was my responsibility to set the record straight and not let any future browsers of this forum think that Wiz's posts were accurate. Nothing personal, just felt someone from DC should post a response to address Wiz's deductions before others began thinking that a riduculous post from over 2 months ago was currently affecting our raiding. I'm wondering if I should open a pool on when this thread will bring up what DC was telling Tem members (and the rest of the server) this time last year about how Tem was folding and not raiding anymore and they should all join DC.
Oh. damn. jk  Anyways, relax Raden, he said what he'd heard. You say DC-the-Guild is still raiding and doesn't think the server is closing. Doesn't make Wizrobe a liar though, or me for that matter, as there's lots of folks in DC with lots of different opinions (and how do you know it's outdated if you don't know when these conversations were? Sukaisi has only been logged in for the past few weeks, so anything she heard wasn't back in September....) This isn't a "GENERAL" forum, it's our screenshots forum where people post screenshots. Half of Tem probably doesn't realize it's public. You've posted you're not closing up shop, and said any speculation about DC-the-Guild believing it in the closing rumors is wrote.
