I will make this very easy for all that are having issues.

1) On your Mac, goto applications and find you EverQuest.app, copy and paste a copy of it also in applications folder.
2) Rename the new EverQuest copy.app to TLP.app. 
3) Right click on TLP.app, click Show Package Content, navigate ro Content/Resources/eqhost.txt and open file with text edit.
4) Your EQ host needs to be this.

}
[Login Servers]
{
"TAKPTLP.takproject.net:6000"


5) Download this: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/q8ytzu6qe...rmcz4&dl=0
6) Open downloaded file with text edit, put your name and password in on your normal TAKP account.

Once you've text edited the file.. how do I then get TLP to launch?

click on the file you edited with the name and password Hemp. Thats your login script for each account you want to log into.

Its weird, I cannot get the file to "execute" just by clicking. It defaults to Text edit, but if I tell it to open in Terminal it just opens and doesnt fill the script. Was able to get it to work by copy/pasting the text into a Terminal window.

Hi Hemp, thats an easy fix. Just click on file you downloaded named "Character" you put your NAME and PASS info into, right click goto get info and do "open with terminal".

That way you just click the file and it loads the Character you like.

What I finally did. Used Speedz launcher. It can differentiate between the two servers. To add characters one must be in NON-WINDOWED mode.

You can name a file with .command extension and it will execute when clicked.


Also you can avoid copying your entire EQ app folder. Just have a TLP_eqhost.txt and a TAKP_eqhost.txt and in your start script specify if you're on TAKP or TLP. Depending on which, copy the appropriate script over to to eqhosts.txt
