As some of you may have heard, I seem to have lost my vacuum cleaner somewhere in my house. (note: if you ever have doubts about how flaky I am IRL, that sentence should clear up your confusion.) Looked hard for it, can't find it anywhere. However, when making the couch up for my sister and her boyfriend the night they arrived, I found 4 bottles of the tawny Kopke 1977 port. The conclusion is clear: my vacuum turned into 4 bottles of port. I recommend a massive server-wide experiment: can anyone else manage to transmute their cleaning implements into various alcoholic beverages? Or is it something unique about my house? --

Hmm. I have several marginally useful cleaning devices sitting about.. Could I send them to you in hopes that they too turned into good alcohol? 
Actually, upon consideration, I have a vacuum cleaner I left in Houston with a friend when I moved. I've been meaning to go back to get it as an excuse to go hang out / drink with said friend in Houston. Perhaps it is a universal possibility that manifests itself in various ways. Perhaps it will disappear from his house just before I arrive, and be replaced with a case of Arrogant Bastard Ale. I should warn him of the possibility. -
