EQMac is running on an old version of phpBB, one with known security issues. If you read the <a href="http://www.phpbb.com/support/documents.php?mode=changelog">updates</a>, you'll see several vulnerabilities were corrected in updated versions. I know our web hosting service backs up weekly, and we can have them restore from backups. Not sure if this is the case with Khama's. Ours is pair.com if anyone wanted to know. I won't post any details here, but suffice it to say that backups may not be an option after today. and yes, I'm personally hosted at pair. I have nothing to do with eqmac beyond mod and can't really do anything. The instructions and info I had from khama disappeared with my repeated hard disk crashes and I hadn't gotten the info back again. --

Immature little runts. Their is no reason for kids or grown adults to hack sites like this. i hope they catch the basterd and charge him to the fullest extent of the law.

I hope it wasn't too. Temerity has a good rep with the other guilds -- at most we're seen as aloof and arrogant, which is far better than mean, vicious, or underhanded recruiting practices. And at best I hear a lot of good tales of people helping selflessly, being friendly, going out of their way to just be general good citizens without expect anything in return. Please keep it that way folks -- let's keep this a guild we're all proud to be members of. Thanks to Aamasea who reached Denali who got me Gael's number who called Khama who got Gael and I the passwords and who called the ISP. Things are restored from backup now, and I have a fresh copy of the admin information stored someplace OTHER than my local drive. --

Kyth Dont Let them Sour Grapes over at Eqmac get you Down. The Drama DC is making over their is pure fabrication and nothing more. And they are adding to the fiction without proof who is responsible.

Well I didn't read the post that they're referencing, but it sounds like it was upsetting. I'm not sure if it was in jest or not. I think they're overreacting, but then they think Redleaf was overreacting<img src="/forums/images/gpicons/face_wink.gif">. Your starting point of view can have such a huge bearing on your final conclusion about a situation... Best thing to do I think is for Tem folks to continue on as they have been -- keep your heads high and your noses clean. As Build says, try to let it slide off your back (hard for me on eqmac.com because I really would like to keep that an open community place, with or without DC's involvement.) --

The post they are referring to was made by the same jokester that hack the boards. And here my ideal that jokester is not a member of DC or Temerity. Again i repeat Not A MEMBER of ETHER GUILDS.
 
Some said they had inside info but all the info was common knowledge posted in the rants page.
 
People forget about all the Peeps that was and still are loser on our server. Some are still around some has come back and gone again. And like Kyth said they all have Axes to grind. And would like nothing better to do then start a war.
 
Best Bet would be not to add to the negative post at EQMAC as we are only fueling someone fantasy.
 
And that someone Hack the Boards and is Laughing at all of our expense

The new "moderator" is an account "eqmadmin" 
 
The newest registered account is LuNkEr, which looks familar.  I
think that (or something very like it) was listed as newest registered

Now getting an error when I go to the login page (as of 9:00). 
 
I copied it, and was going to paste it here, but got smacked with a
"violation of terms" from guildportal.  Be interesting to see if
this post goes thru. 
 
Anyway, I kept a copy of the error message, in case someone needs it.

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happrn. Was message_die() used in tail_php?
