http://www.macrumors.com/ is reporting that the 17in PBs might be going to be End-of-Life'd soon. <br /><br />So this might mean new PBs will be comming out soon, and the ones left over will drop in price like the G4s did when G5 came out. So if anyone is on budgets that want a nice PB, might be a good time to take advantage of the 17in soon. So keep watching the apple store web site for droped prices and the special deals section for refurb PBs.<br /><br /><br />Only problem is moto is having problems pumping out the new G4 chips for the PBs, so might take a month or so. Now that the new PBs have been announced, I can finally speak.<img src="/forums/images/gpicons/face_cool.gif"><br /><br />I was using a 17" for a long time, but switched to a new 15" (late prototype) about 2 months ago. These things rock. They are really stable and well put together.
