Very much limits our ability to use polls to poll on touchy subjects.

e.g. exactly how much of a retard Corinth is.

When you Make a poll you just looking for the results. And for it to mean anything it needs to be unbiased.

It's a poll option whether to make votes public. Default is private.

See how at the top of Redleaf's poll it tells you that choices are public? (compare with my sample poll)

So there's no issue. Whoever sets up the poll can choose, and we'd make any important polls private so there's no concerns about taking unpopular stances (although with Temerity's wide... variety... of personalities and opinions, it can be hard to figure out which precise one of the million stances one might deem as unpopular )
