hey its Ren. i got home at 7pm today and opened EQ as normal, and tried to login, said wrong pass/user name. fiddled with it, ended up using sony's support page (which isnt too helpful) then requested my username, which was altered slightly, then reset password. logged in and i have no characters, and it says my account has been canceled and it ends april 18. so i went to call the people, and of course they are closed. so i will try to figure this out by tomorrow tuesday because i really want to help with Emp. wish me luck, not really sure what's going on.

Ok well you're doing the right thing by contacting Sony, they're the only folks who can help out.
We're doing Emp tonight, but we'll do him again many times, no worries.
Hang in there, it'll get straightened out.
(edit) by the way, you can't change an account name, even slightly. Sure you're not confused?

i cant really explain what happened, either im retarded or something was crazy with the laptop, but when i read your "edit" i kept trying and it finally worked....u can delete this ...missed Emp sdfljkdfs

We'll do emp next week too.
You need all 10 shards to get into VT anyways, rift alone doesn't do it =).
