Stromboli and Mr. T

Onebad (Stromboli) and I (Mr. T) got together at my place for EQ last night.

We exchanged pleasantries, cracked a beer/poured a drink and hooked up the computers.




Onebad (left) launched his EQ and his ENTIRE screen showed up with the welcome graphic. Then he char select screen was freaking HUGE.... this is the screen he used to play through.


I can't beleive he could ever split mobs or see what was incoming.

After some copying/merging of UI files, we eventually got him pretty close to:



Hard at work once things were all set and the pizza was gone....



Then a few beers later, we couldn't stop laughing at....

Stromboli (his nickname) was a student in the band I taught, although he's only 4 years or so younger than I am. He played trumpet, as do I. I'm the Mr. T, cause my last name is long and Mr. T is cooler.

Both Jan and I are BOTH old school trumpet players. I've been playing since 1984, but not so much in the last few years since I picked up bass geetar. Not sure if Jan still plays or not, but I'm sure he'll chime in here with his whole story.

I always bust on Roneb for playing Sax in his HS marching band, but that's only cause Brass>Reeds. It was set up by GAWD that way!!! Jan and I are both old marching band junkies. I only wish I has marched DCI corps when I had the chance. /sigh
