Dain Frostreaver IV... uh... Falls Down a Flight of Stairs

So after killing some bad monsters in The Deep, Zorblak, our fearless raid leader, said that we were going to go pay a social visit to The Dain in Icewall Keep. Just a few of us went along... like 20 or so... to pay our respects to the man who runs one of the factions we love to have.

And when we got there, we found him... ah... well... we found him at the bottom of a flight of stairs. Apparently, he'd stabbed himself, totally accidentally mind you, about 4000 times, tied himself to a chair, and tripped down a flight of stairs. Twice.

Here is a shot of His Trusted Servents, the all of us, trying valiantly, to... uh... um... resuscitate... Yeah, yeah, resuscitate him. We used our most powerfull magics on h... uh... to try to save his life. Really.

But to no avail, his wounds were just to great. So we gently put him to b... uh... dumped him unceremoniously behind the candles in the corner. (He's dead now, right? What does he care?)



Gratz Temerity on the phat le.... er... on the Dain's most valued possetions that he bequeathed to assorted members of the team that tried to resuscitate him.

Lol what a blast! The funny part was the awful guilty feeling I had while we were keeling the poor sap. It felt like I was putting my favorite old dog to sleep after many long years of fun and companionship.

FYI before you try this at home - I went from max ally faction to threatening in one trip, but it's nothing a trip to Karl or two won't fix.

I just had a deeeeelicious oatmeal stout a few weeks ago. I forget what brewery it is but I want to say Samuel Smith for some reason... let me google real quick.

Yes, indeed it is Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout and it's damn good. this is a british brewery but they stock it at one of the big distributors by me.
