The base calculations on Magelo for AC and ATK are both based on the numerical values entered in the formula by the creator of the magelo profile. It's possible to have those two values calculate out to incredibly inaccurate numbers based on the base numbers entered into that formula. If his self-entered base values are way off on the high end, he would end up with more atk than our strongest, best geared rangers despite all the other variables. I remembr when I made my magelo it took me some time to get the base values just right by trial and error, and they're still not exact. Close, but not exact.
